EPDM is a stable material with saturated chemical structure. The higher percentage of EPDM inside the rubber, the better function it will perform on weather, UV, and ozone resistance. This is the reason why TLR insist on using 100%EPDM without mixing with other rubber to ensure the material will not react with ozone, UV, and weather which will cause the washer rubber crack and leaking.
