METALCON 2025: Infrastructure Drives Growth Wave, Boosting Metal Construction Benefits
METALCON 2025, the most authoritative and professional metal construction industry event in North America, was grandly held from October 21 to 23, 2025, at the Las Vegas Convention Center, USA. Covering approximately 20,000 square meters, the show attracted around 21,800 attendees and 367 exhibitors from over 50 countries and regions. Exhibits ranged from metal fabricated products, metal processing systems, welding equipment and technology, to metal cutting machinery. The event served both as a platform for showcasing cutting-edge technology and as a significant occasion for industry networking and professional development.
Fastener World set up a booth at this show, actively showcasing its integrated global fastener supplier information services and promoting its magazine. During the event, Fastener World's booth attracted extensive attention from visitors across the United States and other regions, especially questions from a vice president of a Chicago-based company regarding fasteners of special specifications. Many visitors also focused on logistics and tariffs, actively seeking partners with warehouses established in the U.S., reflecting actual business collaboration needs in the local market. Most visitors’ demands were specific and demonstrated real cooperation potential.
Throughout the exhibition, Fastener World actively collected information on potential partners to foster networking within the global fastener industry. Additionally, Fastener World observed challenges faced by the market, including high U.S. tariffs on fasteners imported from Asia and the difficulties that small and medium suppliers face regarding price competition and delivery speed. At this show, tool machinery and industrial equipment were dominant among exhibitors, while fastener-related companies were comparatively fewer, giving Fastener World more opportunity to stand out as an industry focal point.
This event helped participants gain a deeper understanding of how rapid growth in infrastructure investment and developments in the steel and automotive industries bring long-term benefits to the metal construction sector.
