Mack-Brooks Exhibitions announced the postponement of Fastener Fair Global 2021, which was scheduled to take place at the Messe Stuttgart Exhibition Centre in Germany from 9 to 11 November 2021. Instead the 9th International Exhibition for the Fastener and Fixing industry, will return to its normal event cycle and run from 21–23 March 2023. This decision was made due to the ongoing pandemic and following conversations with exhibitors and partners over the past weeks and months. Liljana Goszdziewski, Portfolio Director of Fastener Fair Global, and on behalf of Mack-Brooks Exhibitions, commented about the announcement: “Following our decision to postpone Fastener Fair Global, we are pleased to be able to offer our usual event slot in Spring 2023. This early announcement will allow planning security for all participants, and it will ensure that the event can continue its critical role in bringing the global fastener and fixing industry together again in 2023.” In the meantime, Mack-Brooks Exhibitions will run the new digital event, Fastener Fair CONNECT, allowing the international fastener and fixing community to gather in a dedicated online marketplace, which will offer an online showcase and additional networking opportunities for all the industry. From 17-18 November 2021, this international fastener get-together will unite all the global Fastener Fair brands, including Germany, Italy, Mexico, USA and India. Fastener Fair CONNECT will lead the way to a series of roadshow events, planned to run in 2022, which will offer fastener and fixing professionals opportunities to meet and stay connected with the industry. Fastener Fair Italy, already planned from 30 November – 1 December 2022, will be one of the events in the series. Detailed information on dates and locations will be released in due course. The Fastener Fair Global Team will communicate closely with customers and partners over the coming weeks and months and thank their exhibitors, partners, suppliers and visitors for their continuous support. Fastener Fair Global is the global flagship exhibition of the Fastener Fair brand. The show is the world’s leading meeting place for the fastener and fixing industry. Breaching Virus Blockade with Massive Online Attendance International Fastener Expo (IFE) 2020 The largest American fastener show held a successful online show on November 11th and 12th. Fastener World participated with a virtual booth there and broke out the blockade of the third coronavirus wave. In addition to Fastener World, there were also 7 other Taiwanese exhibitors at this virtual event, which included Huang Jing Industrial, Spec Products, Chite Enterprises, J.C. Grand, Pro-Path Industrial, and New Best Wire. Fastener World had successful video chats with Brighton Best International, Nord-Lock, Inc., Industrial Rivet & Manufacturing, Earnest Machine, FCH Sourcing Network, EXIPAR, S.A. DE C.V., EGW Utilities, Inc., among others, and successfully connected with more than 103 exhibitors online. During the live-streaming conferences, Fastener World was able to discuss conference topics with participants in a chat room, and the result was satisfactory. The two-day show helped connect 2,700 online users and exchanged more than 6,700 messages. The exhibitors came from Canada, India, China, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Taiwan, the U.S., and the visitors were from Mexico, Malaysia, China, Taiwan, Indonesia, etc. One Mexican visitor comes to Las Vegas almost every year and has purchased from Taiwan and China before. However, this year the visitor couldn't come to the event and therefore took the opportunity online. The virus blocks face-to-face talk among business people, but in turn opens up a new parallel business model including online and face-to-face communication. From the 26-28 June 2019 a vast number of the industry’s leading companies will convene in Shanghai. Following the significant success of the recent 2018 exposition, which brought 633 exhibitors, 2019 sees a growth to over 700 exhibitors and 30,000 visitors. Occupying 60,000 sqm, next year promises an impressive display of products including non-standard pieces, fasteners for industrial application, fastener manufacturing technology and equipment, mould and consumables for fasteners, raw materials, and even related support products and techniques. The 10-year anniversary will also mark the expansion into a new type of fastener: ITE is proud to introduce building fasters, an unique area never showcased before. FASTENER POLAND® is truly exceptional in Poland and our corner of Europe. The second edition of the trade show brought together 192 exhibitors from 14 countries and was visited by 4,000 industry guests (26% of whom were foreigners from 39 countries). Compared with the first edition, the exhibition had grown by 84%. Exhibitors presented a whole gamut of industrial fasteners, fixing devices, mounting and installation systems, fastener production and storage technologies, as well as services dedicated to the fastener market. It was the most international of the trade shows organised by Targi w Krakowie. FASTENER POLAND® is the largest fastener trade show in this corner of Europe, visited by manufacturers from neighbouring countries, such as the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Germany and Ukraine every year. Just as during its previous editions,there will also be no shortage of guests fromWestern Europe and the farthest corners of the world.
