南非贸易调查委员会(ITAC)为因应南非商要求，将部分螺丝类产品之关税从10%调高至30%，并于2013年5月24日展开调查。

为维护台湾厂商出口南非权益，台湾区螺丝工业同业公会于2013年7月16日发函国际贸易局，委请该局代为向ITAC反应，请遵守WTP规范，勿任意调高进口关税。

ITAC顷于2014年3月7日公告，调高部分螺丝类产品进口关税至20%，品项如下：

73181539-　 Other　screws,　full　threaded　with　hexagon　heads　 (excluding　those　of　stainless　steel)，

73181543-　 Other　bolts(excluding　bolt　ends,　screw　studs　and　screw　studding)　with　hexagon　heads，

73181680-　nuts　(南非政府尚未有明确详实定义)。
