KCS Enterprise Co. produces 800 million to 1 billion pieces of rubber bonded washers per month. The company ranks the top in Asia in terms of the production output of rubber bonded washers and the quality of its products. It has accumulated 30 years of experience in manufacturing and R & D. KCS started to manufacture rubber products in 1983. In the early 1990’s, it entered and developed in the field of rubber bonded washers. As of now, its main products include rubber bonded washers and various types of customized rubber products. Matthew Liang, the vice general manager of the company, indicates that since rubber bonded washers are durable and can withstand harsh weather conditions, they do not need any maintenance after fitted and thus are very popular. Therefore, its rubber bonded washers have been regarded as the top-ranking products in the market and the rubber material includes EPDM, Slicon, Neoprene, etc. With regard to its customized rubber products, KCS can provide any type of such product according to the types specified by its clients. Moreover, its rubber bonded washers are used for the automotive industry in addition to the construction field.
 
 “The manufacture of rubber products is just like the making of a cake; the company customizes its rubber products according to the clients’ specifications,” said Matthew. “We often talk with our foreign counterparts to know the future product trends so that we can develop new products according to our clients’ demands and these trends.” As of now, three to four new products are being developed. Therefore, in this manner, the company can assist its clients to develop their exclusive products; this is a win-win approach, increasing the exposure of the company’s products in the international markets and securing a certain market share in the international markets for its products.

The company has a high regard for quality. “Customized products must be manufactured professionally; we have been awarded with the ISO 9001 and 14001 and the CE; we have also adopted the ERP system so as to enhance its efficiency in management. Our goal is to assure the quality of our products through the control in each production step, “said Matthew. Thanks to its high regard for quality, its clients are confident to entrust the company with their orders.
 
“Brand name is a double-edged sword and determines our success or failure,” stressed Matthew. To secure firm footing for its brand, a company should enhance stability and consistency in quality of products so as to increase clients’ satisfaction level and then to convert such satisfaction level to the loyalty to the brand. In the future, the company will secure its the US and the European market share as well as actively develop the markets in India, South America and southeastern Asia. In addition, the company aims to strengthen its management and better its production process and quality control system. Its ultimate goals are to be a leading company in the fastener manufacturing field and to embellish the image of Taiwan.
