As estimated, the screw import volume of Japan in 2011 totaled 309,990 tons, up 10.86% over 2010. Taiwan’s screw exports to Japan amounted to 64,000 in 2011, up 12% over 2010. The industry insiders commented that the construction-used screw is Taiwan’s main export screw product to Japan so the overall screw exports to Japan still exhibited a growth.
