Korean KIA Motors Invests 160 million USD in setting up Automobile Assembly Plant In Georgia

KIA Motors will invest 160 million USD in purchasing machinery and factories in Georgia within the next 16 years, with an aim to satify demands in the U.S. markets. The company announced its establishment of 2,200-acre manufacturing plant in West Point, and swiftly expand employment and mass-produce its Sorento Crossover as well as Optima sedan after the production launch in November, 2009.
This February, KIA Motors made a new milestone of reaching 500,000 car production. The Behometh plant produces 360,000 cars annually.
