Boltun Corp. Becomes the Largest Welded Nut Plant in the World

Boltun has business operations in both Taiwan and China. As president points out, the annual capacity of Boltun's core product welded nuts reaches 100 thousand tons, which is 9% of the global share. Boltun has become the largest welded nut maker in the world with annual revenue of NTD 11 billion. Its main clients come from global renowned car makers like Volkswagen, Ford, Chrysler, GM, and  Mercedes-Benz.
 
Boltun started its business by targeting car OEM markets. Its welded nuts have evolved from the initial 40 types to over 3,000 types, becoming the largest maker and extending its cold forging technology into territories like automotive nuts, bolts, screws,  shaped pieces, stamped parts, multi-combination parts, etc.
 
Recently, Boltun has increased the investment in facilities. This includes increasing manufacturing process, and adopting large sized wind forging fasteners, small wind turbines, precision de-waxed cast parts, and hydraulically formed parts. It aims at becoming an integrated maker of automotive metal components.
