Tainan City Government Holds Open Attitude to New “Boltun” and “Tzeng-Wen” Industrial Parks

Taiwan’s Tainan City government has recently given a meeting discussing the applications for two new industrial parks-“Boltun”(application submitted by QST International) and “Tzeng-Wen”. The Boltun Industrial Park spans the area of 16.81 hectares in Gueiren District of Tainan City. The Bureau of Economic Development of Tainan City Government holds an optimistic attitude and promises to support such matter. It is estimated to create 1,040 job opportunities and the annual production of NTD5.89 billion after the completion of these two industrial parks (with the estimated investment: NTD5.06 billion).
On the other hand, QST International is one of the members of Boltun Group and is a critical distributor that integrates over 250 fastener manufacturers across China and Taiwan. As the quality of materials from China is not as good as that from Taiwan’s CSC (e.g. the inferior quality of outsourced heat treatment or surface treatment), QST International thus decided to go back to Taiwan with further investment in facilities, in order to digest the increasing capacity and the high-quality demand from customers.
