Previously insert and outsert nuts could hardly be embedded into plastic components at high torque. This is because during the fastening process the nut would often run idle and even worse damage the plastic.

Daiichi Kogyo Co Ltd released a high-torque type outsert (hot press type) nut called "SSOO Nut" that can be embedded into plastic components and make high-torque fastening possible. This product retains the unique octagonal shape of the previously sold insert nut series.  It does not run idle and can help fastening male screws at high-torque without damaging the plastic components being fastened.
