Grand Opening of Ching Chan Optical’s New Plant
Successful New Machine Release with +1,500 Global Partners in Attendance

The world leading fastener sorting machine manufacturer, Ching Chan Optical Technology Co., Ltd has recently announced the grand opening of its new HQ, which took place on Jan. 24th, 2015 with representatives from National Association of SMEs (R.O.C.), Railway/Airport Bureaus, Kaohsiung City Council, Kaohsiung City Police Bureau, Legislative Council, and over 1,500 global partners joining and witnessing the opening ceremony.
The ceremony was given along with performances of Chinese orchestra and traditional lion dance, which were impressive to guests from other countries, who could not even stop having snapshots of them. There were over 40 distribution agents from USA, UK, Germany, Turkey, India, and Japan, as well as foreign customers from 20 countries like France, Slovenia, Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Poland, Spain, Iran, UAE, South Korea, China, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Denmark, and Canada, etc., completely demonstrating the position and reputation of Ching Chan in the market.
This year has been the 22nd anniversary of Ching Chan Optical. It wasn’t very easy for the company to change the focus on vibratory feeders to sorting machines. However, according to statistics of Ching Chan, up to the end of 2014 the total sales of fastener sorting machines have been accumulated to over 1,700 sets, showing a remarkable market share. President Alex Wu of Ching Chan expressed his thanks to those who helped achieved such a successful result in the ceremony, “As our R&D team always uses high quality components for assembly, our team for marketing thus has resolute confidence in products of the company and can talk about more advantages of machines in promotion, which then broadens the sales network. Of course, I’d like to appreciate the support and recognition of our global partners to Ching Chan’s sorting machines.” Ching Chan added a new “fastener forming” division in 2014 and will continue to go on the road of ‘quality first” for servicing a wide range of customers.
The new machine release after the opening ceremony was one of the popular events. Each demo area of sorting machines and forming machine was crowded with people. The most recommended machines are:
Rotary Disk Sorting Machine—Continues Running (PSG-1500)
- For M3-M16 screws and bolts, under head length below 80mm.
- Additional installation of 2-4 cameras available.
- High speed check of screws and rivets, which can be hung on the metal disc.
- Thoughtful design to prevent accepted parts from mixing with NG parts.
Glass Dial Sorting Machine (PSG-1500/PSG-1700)
- 2-4 cameras can be installed on PSG-1500 and 2-6 cameras on PSG-1700.
- A high transparent glass dial. Fit for grease-free parts, which can be placed on the glass plate steadily.
- Cameras can be placed under the glass to inspect dimension, features, and defects.
- (Optional) An eddy current system for checking material mixing and whether products are heat treated or not.
- (Optional) A prism system to inspect thread damage of bolts.
- (Optional) 360° external/internal lens to inspect thread damage, features or surface defects.
