Founded in 1992 by Ken Tomasetti, Advanced Cable Ties Inc. is one of the 4 leading manufacturers of cable ties and accessories. The company operates 24-7, generating $25 million to $30 million annual sales that are likely to increase to $55 million to 60 million annually in the next five years.

The comapany is close completing a major expansion that will double the size of facility and workforce. It is adding 52,000 square feet to the existing 60,000 square feet, doubling the warehouse and manufacturing space as well as the office space. It expects to add 100 new people to the present 130 employees in the next three years.

 

Its ties ranges from 7 inches to 48 in size, selling 400 million pieces a year. Its best seller is the 7-inch tie, and the 48-inch tie sells 36 million pieces a year. Through Quality Control Department it performs three tests to determine flexibility, ease of insertion and overall strength, striving for the highest tensile strength with the lowest insertion force. Its ties have twice the strength of the industry standard set by Underwriters Laboratories, proving itself as a dependable tie.
