                     In terms of imports and exports, the world has become smaller – products and parts are made and shipped everywhere. In addition to their use on finished goods, international fastener sourcing has grown through a growing practice for manufacturers - outsourcing or sub-contracting. 
A South American company might purchase a machine from the US, which had sub-assemblies fabricated in India, using fasteners made in Taiwan.
This is progress; however, the menu of global standards can create problems – particularly where one of the more common head styles are concerned…Pan Heads.
