Founded in 1982, Lih Ta Fasteners Co., Ltd started its fastener business in northern Taiwan. Having devoted itself in small screw business for many years, it has nowadays gained its own presence in the market. 10 years ago, Lih Ta saw the future of the automotive market and began the production of automotive fasteners. So far not only the current factories in Taoyuan and Kaohsiung have both demonstrated stable growth, but also the Ben-Chou factory inaugurated last May is off to a good start. With the new 10,000 sq. meters of state-of-the-art factory and the current 9,000 sq. meters of Yong-An factory, Lih Ta is gradually gaining its own presence in the supply chain of int’l car manufacturers. Lih Ta Vice General Manager Jack Wang said humbly, “I’ve spent so many years learning in the industry for Lih Ta to gradually find its own position and direction. Even so, there are still lots of things for me to learn from my industrial predecessors.”

Substantially Increased Capacity Makes It the New Best Choice for Global Car Manufacturers
Due to more stringent audit requirements of overseas car manufacturers and the slightly insufficient capacity of the existing Yong-An factory, all manufacturing facilities in the Yong-An factory were moved to the new factory of Lih Ta and new washer machines and eddy current optical inspection machines were also added. Moreover, the addition of inspection equipment and the expansion of quality control laboratories have both helped the manufacturing process run more smoothly with doubled capacity. Fastener manufacturing of Lih Ta has been now relocated to the new Ben-Chou factory and the role of the old Yong-An factory is now for heat treatment only. Thus far Lih Ta has had 5 heat treatment lines (3 for tempering and 2 for carburizing), which successfully helped the company increase its capacity, and even made it one of the select suppliers of the world renowned electric vehicles manufacturer- Tesla. Lih Ta is considered to play an important role in Taiwanese automotive fastener industry.

Quality First and Full Responsibility for Its Products
As quality becomes more and more important in the industry, Lih Ta has not only introduced the quality management system of ISO 9001 into the company, but also has been compliant with the strict quality standards of ISO/TS 16949. With in-plant SPC quality control and automated optical screw sorting, Lih Ta can offer the best quality products to customers. Vice General Manager Wang said firmly, “Our principle is that we take full responsibility for every product we produce. We show serious attitude at all times to face any problems on our products. Even though we haven’t reached the high level of 0ppm, we have already established strong trust and partnership with our customers.”

Currently 99% of Lih Ta’s products are for export. Lih Ta will gradually try to gain more market share in the supply chain of the automotive industry and will try its best to increase its product value and corporate statement step by step.
