Sheh Fung Acquires ICC & IATF16949 and Announces New Vietnam Plant Construction This Dec.

Sheh Fung Screws has recently reported its net profit after tax for the first 3 quarters of 2022, which reaches NTD 0.289 billion, outperforming its full-year result in 2021. Its EPS reached NTD5.36. Its Board of Directors also announced in Q3 2022 that stockholders will receive the cash dividend of NTD1.5 per share.
Sheh Fung has also taken a big leap forward in terms of certification. The long-size structural wood screw it co-developed with an American client has been officially certified to ICC and is expected to launch small-batch delivery at the end of this year and tap into the sales approaches of the two major household and home improvement retailers in the U.S. According to Sheh Fung, currently American DIY and construction markets still remain a certain level of demand for fasteners.
In addition, considering the growing potential of the electric vehicle market, Sheh Fung is also planning to expand its business reach to automotive fasteners and has gained the IATF16949 certificate. Now it is active in seeking for collaboration with battery modules manufacturers based Taiwan, China, and other countries in Europe.
In order to correspond to the diversified supply strategy and those favorable conditions created by EU-Vietnam FTA, Sheh Fung has also planned the construction of its new plant in Vietnam, which will be activated in the beginning of this Dec. and will be put into a trial run before Q4 2023. The initial estimated capacity per month will be up to 800 tons.
