Polarized Extension of Product Series Within Diversified Business Area

Super Cheng is a globally known nut manufacturer, which specializes in the production and design of locking nuts and has been verified by international standards including NVLAP, A2LA, and CNLA, ensuring customers to get products with the best quality. Prior to U.S. announcement of antidumping measure against threaded rods imported from China, it had been actively planning to penetrating into the sector of threaded rods and utilized the area of its old plant to establish new threaded rod production lines, successfully creating another stable profiting margin. To consider the level of technology, production of threaded rods is a downward extension of its existing technology while that of automotive fasteners and components is a continuous improvement of existing technology and management. SOP and human-based Management to Satisfy Customers’ Demands 

In May 2008, Super Cheng moved to a new modern base in BenChou Industrial Park. A larger plant and the idea of “Operational Procedure” both strengthen the advantages of its production and management. Cheng said, “The SOP of production management are very important to the manufacturing industry.” and he also introduced the idea into the process of management at the early time. Cheng even made any effort to formulate the SOP manual for every products and machinery operation, in order that every operator in the production line can work according to SOP, thus effectively controlling every step and process, accurately managing production costs, and guaranteeing the stable product quality. Through the managing strategy which is totally different from the tradition, Super Cheng creates the standardization of business operation and production procedure to achieve cost-effective mass production.
In addition to standardization, Super Cheng also adopts “Human-based management” to the staff management, which means always thinking from the standpoint of employees and providing them with sound benefits and protection. Considering the arrangement of manpower, the management will irregularly make the team members shift to different positions to cultivate their second or third specialty. This practice can help employees find their suitable positions and discover their potential and specialty, Cheng said.
Always thinking from customers’ standpoints, Cheng just know what customers need. Under Cheng’s leading, this idea goes deep through the minds of sales teams, making them get closer to the customers and know what they need. Under the mechanism of buyer’s market, when a customer has a demand, there comes a chance. Super Cheng’s customers are mostly large importers, so it has to be in buyers’ shoes to give them suggestions of how to make orders, help them select the best-selling items, and offer the most in-time and competitive service to satisfy different buyers’ demand.
Today, Super Cheng not only work to consolidate the already-had North American market, but also try to develop new importers or distributors in Europe and other new emerging markets as its target customers. Planning to expand its automatic inventory management system as a customers’ overseas warehouse, Super Cheng provides not only stocks space, but also logistic service. Today, as the economy environment had recovered from the financial crisis, Cheng also sets the target monthly production to 4,000 tons to satisfy the rising demand of the market.. With full utilization of capacity and efficient SOP of the new plant, and the continuous R&D to new market development, Super Cheng is believed to see continuous growth and sustainable operation.
