Add to my favorite
2014-10-06
ScrewTech Industry has set up 6 fastener production bases in Taiwan and China at an astounding speed. The group produces special precision screws, combination screws, nuts, and bolts in Taiwan in the name of "ScrewTech Industry", and produces electronics and PC screws and machine tool hardware in China in the name of "Wujiang Screwtech Precision Industry". The group's advantage is diversified business running, which is the main reason that the grout becomes a benchmark for the industry. As general manager points out, the group's increasing revenue over the past few years is driven by higher customization proportion that brings higher profit margin than that of rivals. This is coupled with the group's expansion in overseas markets over a long period that prevents the group's business performance from the potential fluctuation in Taiwan's industry condition.

Currently the China plant's order visibility extends to around 6 months, and the Taiwan plant's order visibility reaches 8 months. The group not only proactively looks for OEM partners, but also carefully evaluates for the perfect timing to set up the second plant in Taiwan. The group's short-term focus is to strengthen its position in China, expand business in the high-profit American and European markets, and create business in the Middle East and South America. In light of the trend of corporate globalization, the group's China and Taiwan plants must support each other effectively to cope with the actual needs of Taiwanese business owners. Currently the group is expanding its business in Taiwan.

In all situations considered, the annual revenue for this year is expected to grow 30%, and the consolidated revenue is expected to grow 20%. Based n the belief in mutual benefits, the group is working more closely with Lenovo Group to strengthen growth momentum. Coupled with incoming export orders, the group's overall profits is expected to increase. For the future, the group is considering expanding capacity continuously. Additionally, driven by the effects of RCEP and TPP, the group is evaluating the establishment of the Vietnam plant. The future second plant in Kaohsiung of Taiwan is already an imperative to cope with the strong demand from overseas markets.
