Sherex Fastening Solutions is reported to set up a new factory in Akron, Ohio (The area of the factory will be 24,000 sq ft), which is expected to generate more manufacturing and jobs in the town. In addition to the previously established new factory in Taiwan, the new factory in Akron will also speed up the delivery to its North American customers. The factory is expected to have 45 employees within 5 years.

Sherex is currently headquartered in Riverview Solar Technology Park and has a sales & distribution center in Queretaro, Mexico. It provides service to customers in Europe via its European customers- Belgian Dejond NV and German MDS-Autoriv.
