SS410 Hex Nut - Specification
Corrosion Resistance
Resistant to atmospheric corrosion, fresh water and weak acid-alkaline media; not resistant to seawater and strong corrosive media. Corrosion resistance is better than carbon steel nuts and lower than 304/321 austenitic stainless steel nuts.
Operating Temperature
Continuous service temperature ≤400℃; general high-temperature oxidation resistance, no low-temperature embrittlement.
Matching & Application
Matched with 410 stainless steel bolts/screws. Suitable for fastening applications with ordinary corrosion conditions and certain strength requirements, including engineering machinery parts, agricultural machinery equipment, non-coastal outdoor steel structures, water pumps & valves (fresh water medium), auto chassis parts, general mechanical assembly, etc. An ideal alternative to galvanized carbon steel nuts for enhanced corrosion resistance, with a cost advantage over 304 nuts.
